Discover the region<\/h2>\n

De Paellepelhoeve is situated in the beautiful and quiet Dender valley. With natural reserve De Gavers and the \u2018Vlaamse Ardennen\u2019 nearby, there is no lack of green environment. This region invites you to be explored slowly, on foot or by bike. For cycling fans, the region is certainly no stranger. Ninove is the traditional arrival place of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. From here you can quickly set off for both flat stages along the Dender river and the typical gaiters such as De Muur and De Bosberg.<\/p>\n

But there is of course much more to see in our region. Ninove, for instance, has three different types of water- and windmills, including the Fonteintjesmolen in Meerbeke, the Wildermolen in Appelterre and the ter Zeven Wegen mill in Denderwindeke. This variety of mills is unique in Flanders. You can visit<\/a> the mills by appointment.<\/p>\n

Also worth visiting is the iron pedestrian bridge in Pollare. The most beautiful part of the Dender valley is in our region, between Ninove and Geraardsbergen. This unique piece of heritage was listed in 1987 because of its value in terms of iron architecture and industrial archaeology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
